A coastal tram ride. Starting point Faliro.. Admittedly the coastal path (road or tram rail)  Faliro to Voula  is a wonderful travelogue along the edging of the marine “braid” Saronic gulf. This path, or cross it by car or tram, has many charms. You will see the green, little island, the little paths to the sea, little semi-wild rivers, pine forests, attractive beaches with golden sand suitable for swimming in summer, cliffs and rocks that one to the other offers with formal politeness and courtesy splendid view.  It is possible to see many things along the beach or the road you have just to know in advance where to stop or where to eat.. For this purpose of course we have propositions..(next post) For your tram ride you need a pass for a whole day of 4 euros.  The station “Agia Skepi”  is 400 hundred mettres  south east to Nestorion.  You should rather have visited  the area of port Faliron, marina and the park Flisvos before you go further. But just do this separately another time.. From the Flisvos stop and until  the end of the line you can hop on and off as many times and wherever you want, enjoying the coastal route in an landscape reminiscent of Florida with the sea always on your right, many palm trees and grass on the tramlines. You may swim in one of the nice beaches you will meet and enjoy the sight and scents of the famous Saronic Gulf. Each beach has its charms and in some places are outdoor markets, parks, playgrounds and several shops open from spring time. An outstanding seaside town of the Athenian Riviera is Glyfada which next time we speak about.
