Therefore, each new presentation of popular works by the leading composer such as the inspired First Symphony (1948-1954) or the em Axion Esti (1960-1962), is so much more than just a pleasant reminder of his music. It offers us reviving reunion with sounds, melodies, emotions, events and visions which constitute an intergal part of the hestoric and aesthetic identity of the Greek people.
