Orasis Ofthalmology Center opened its doors in 1987 under the management of eye surgeon dr. Ioannis Lambropoulos, who, after a long stay at the US, implemented for the first time in Greece in 1975, the method of phacoemulsification and intraocular lens implantation. In 2003, Orasis was selected along with 5 other ophthalmic centers in Europe, as the place of clinical research on the use of multifocal intraocular lenses and RESTORE IRISH CLAW.
